Tonight was résumé night! While I was getting my oil changed at the Jiffy Lube, I started working getting the text only, HTML version of my résumé going. I got about halfway through the formatting and then my car was ready. The Squeakmobile was back on the road in a jiffy (no pun intended but wasn’t it funny!?). I got home at about my normal time but lots of things needed to be done around the house before getting back on the site… not to mention the finale to American Idol came on. I had to see which David was going to win… and boy was I surprised at the outcome!

In addition to my résumé page, I got a chance to place a return to the index page on all of my content pages. I believe that my site is complete. ****HAPPY****

Sunday night I stayed up working on the “other” page… only to have my computer crash just before saving my work and uploading to the web. Thankfully, it was easier to recreate the page the second time around (tonight). Also, I took a few minutes to tweak the “photo” page and the “about” page.

I think the site is nearly complete! Next up, getting the HTML version of my résumé up and maybe a more sophisticated blog for regular updates. It’s coming along quickly for just fitting this in during the few hours I have in the evenings.

Anyway, it’s late and I’m exhausted. There will be no work on the website tomorrow, as I’m playing in a softball game. Hopefully we’ll have another victory like we did at Monday’s game!

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through May! It feels like just yesterday that I couldn’t believe that it was going to be 2008. Time flies when you’re keeping yourself busy!

Tonight I decided that I wasn’t happy with the design page so… I reworked it a bit. I’m pleased. It’s a lot easier to view the work, it’s not so random and it just generally makes more sense. Next up – other projects! This one should be a fun one… you just wait, it’s gonna be goood. I hope to get a minute to refine the about page. I’m not completely satisfied with that one yet… sometimes it hurts to be so picky but in the end, I think it makes a much more professional product.

Today, I’m going to get this site up! I’ve got temporary pages ready for everything. Photography page is complete. I think it looks decent enough for show and tell. I think I made the right decision in making this site look like my printed portfolio; I quite like it! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
